I also love these beautiful, historic trees. We need to preserve as many of them as possible while improving the roadway. The businesses in the area need to give Cal-Trans their estimated cost of doing business for the amount of time of construction. Cal-Trans needs to include that amount into it's budget so that closing those businesses during construction is part of the plan.
Nothing should be done if all parties aren't included in the revision. Bikes as well, this is a riders paradise and we need to get with the program. This roadway revision has to be an improvement, or not at all. If other cities can do it, we can do it better.
