I would just like to point out that the Journal needs to do some research before just allowing any artist around here to be in this competition. All these guys are great, except Damien DeNolf. He's extremely dirty and unprofessional. He allows his dog not only in the shop, but in the area where he tattoos. There is so much clutter in his shop there is NO way he can keep the place clean, and he does NOT properly clean and sterilize after a tattoo. Only to mention a few of his filthy habits. On many numerous occasions he has sexually harrased female clients and former apprentices, offering to tattoo them for free if they would have sex with him, or to fire them (the apprentices) if they won't. Multiple people have had to go to other shops in the area to have his tattoos fixed, but they are usually so scarred that nothing can be done. He's been banned from the local tattoo convention for all these reasons and many more. It's a joke that he's still in business and, once again, The Journal should do some research before letting just any artist (if you can call him that) to be voted on.
