Talk about being at the back of the line....while this is all ancient history by now, my now that is; I have half a cent to throw in: The lower classes have been tagged with the word: "Fuck," to such a degree that it is now verb, adjective and noun simultaneously . It is a grunt that is the stand-in for actual language. It is the lower classes which consume the movies and the television. And there they have been taught to speak in the language of the Mono-word. One word to rule them all. One word limited only by the speaker. I despise its common usage. I hate having it barked at me by fools who have no sense of propriety. But, I like Savage Henry. I'll read anything Vonnegut ever wrote. Words aren't really anything at all. So it's like the man said: "We refrain from doing something not because the thing has any power; but that my brother feels it has power is enough for me to let it go; for his sake."
Man....they need to dump all that "Government/Corporate" propaganda-talking-points shows. Such as: "The World," "All Things Considered" it's like listening to ABCNews, or MSNBC. it's the same fake propaganda as all those right-wing talking head shows. Just think of the money that could be put into local/regional productions. The: "HomePage" is about it. There should be more. Whatever happened to "Public" in "National Public Radio"?
Better late than never. I was hoping the Mateel would "Foreclose," on the whole operation.
It is so maddening that this has happened. Thanks to the perverted justice of the U.S. courts, no Non-Profit is safe. This sets a pretty good precedent for commercial interests and companies/corporations to steal assets held by Non-Profits all over the country.
What's to stop them?
Nothing at all.
Is it really true that there are Three unaccounted for fuel rods?
Every year the tireless workers of Willow Creek put on the Bigfoot Days. I have only missed one or two in the last 20 years. Its a wonderful feeling to see the children from way-back-when, watching the parade with their own children on their shoulders. Kind of sad seeing the huge hole created by the absence of some of the stalwarts of the celebration. Gary Roberts, Kieth Johnson. It really is 'small town America'. Willow Creek and the surrounding areas are very special. I think of it as one of the best places in the country to live and raise a family.
As for Bigfoot? Well, lets just celebrate the 'Legend,' shall we?
I was under the impression that the TS was still printing the Two-Rivers Tribune, formerly the Hoopa People News.
Should we even be talking about KHSU, in terms of "..Market Positioning?" I thought it was a community radio station.
