Here's a start:
AEDC apparently owns it now, or at least legally controls it:
Ross Welch, Executive Director Ext. 11; [email protected]
Kelli Denney, Loan Manager Ext. 14; [email protected]
Jayne Lovig, Loan Analyst Ext. 17; [email protected]
Tony Rodrigues, Loan Servicing Ext. 16; [email protected]
Keif Chavera, Office Manager Ext. 10; [email protected]
Teri Paterson, Controller Ext. 13; [email protected]
Susan Seaman, Program Director Ext. 12, [email protected]
Madelin Holtkamp, Business Development Tel: (707) 462-2899, [email protected]
So Anon.....you are concerned that the legacy left behind by AEDC will be millions and millions left dead?
Hmmmmmmm, I better re-think this myself.
Lola, comparing AEDC to Hitler....it just doesn't work and is offensive on so many levels.
While I think that tactics that were used are obviously very heavy-handed, we don't know all the details yet, and it remains to be seen whether all consignment items will be returned to the artists.
But getting your consignments items back compared to being separated from your family, worked until you are just about dead, then being gassed to death.....and doing it 6 million times.....maybe you should rethink things a little.

Well Captain Crunch, I'm glad to see you're keeping an open mind about it.
I have always enjoyed Hank’s columns. Though often controversial, as an opinion columnist I think he is top notch and the first thing I read in the NCJ every week. That being said, I believe that he has made some very questionable decisions as editor of NCJ and I agree that a change was needed.
Mr. Abate is a seasoned professional journalist who graduated from one of the top journalism schools in the country as well as spending close to 20 years working as an award winning writer for one of the top newspapers in the country.
Combined with his love (and a true love it is) for Humboldt County, I am looking forward to the changes he will bring. Will he be right all the time? I doubt it. But will he make NCJ a better paper? I’ll bet on it.
I readily admit that Tom is a close friend of mine. So while I am biased in my respect for him, I have also been reading his columns and following his career since 1992 when he started writing for The Examiner. He is a man of ideas and energy. And I think this is a logical step both for his career and for NCJ.
I congratulate Judy on her choice. I look forward to the changes it will bring.
Re: “UPDATED: 'Terrorized': Arcata Planning Commissioner Accused of Drunken Door-Kicking”
I agree with 2:28. Eli screwed up badly and it seems that this is not the first time.
That being said, Redwood Curtain is a fine brewery making some of the best craft beer that Humboldt County has ever seen. This is exactly the type of business that this community should support. To indict this business for the actions of one (now former) owner would be a shame and in my opinion, very misguided.
