Oh, god, what a bunch of typos in there. I must be upset about something. But you get my drift, I'm sure.
It's to their credit they didn't use the guns found in their car???? What???? This was a crime, No Guns -- it wasn't just growing, transporting, or selling illegal stuff, it was a HOME INVASION. A "repo attempt"? It was burglary, assault and battery, felony child endangerment, etc. as charged.
I don't care whether T-Bohn was Rex's son or not, or how Rex responded to this -- I'm just astounded at someone calling this a "repo attempt."
You think the victims should say, "Thank you for not shooting"??
Right. This station provides invaluable services to the community, keeps people informed in emergencies, provides the only broadcast local news at a community level, entertains and educates with a variety of shows -- music, talk, frivolous, serious, etc. -- and nurtures local talent and enthusiasm among its almost all volunteer programmers.
Hey, you big shot growers out there. Pay your damn taxes by contributing large to your community radio station.
And us few legal working stiffs can throw in a $50 or so, too.
I agree that Salzman disgraced himself by submitting letters to the editor under false names. I don't know what he did to Paul Hagen so I don't have a position in what seems to now to have been deflected to a quarrel between Sylvia & Paul.
But to attribute the entire decline of local political dialog to Salzman is just too much -- not that I'm so worried about Salzman -- but it leaves out the Arkley/Hum CPR/HELP/HAR/big timber/big landowner hit team, not to mention the Humboldt Mirror (or are they the same?). C'mon now! Let's give credit where credit is due.
