Thirdeye, the knottiest transportation infrastructure question was the road through Ferndale and up the Wildcat -- not getting the parts into Humboldt County.
EPIC Fail, if you have tasted a glass of water from Humboldt County watersheds that are uncontaminated with herbicides, you have benefitted from one of their useful causes -- for example.

The lightness, Mr. Goff, comes from tagging your post as "Crime Candy." Probably a decision made by editors well above your pay grade.
But there is nothing candy-like about this incident -- neither to the unfortunate Mr. Mellinger nor to a community that is plagued with people who would take a life over $40K. I'm sure Mr. Mellinger would value his own life at a higher price than that, and hopefully he would think the same of his fellow humans.
