can you say echo echo
went to a walmart in Stockton the other day. same food as at the local supermarket, even some brands stocked at eureka natural foods and coop. very good prices. can't wait.
Funny to watch the median price of homes get lower as my home gains value. Albeit there were some slow years there.
I think there is a certain area of the county that is losing value. Arcata to Trinidad. that is where prices went stupid; and quite frankly people realize that pot farmers and deadbeats don't make good neighbors. Just refi'd and appraised mine in Loleta. Still appreciating and what a great little town.
wave it is refracted around the emperor seamount chain and 'focused' along mendocino fracture zone. look at a seafloor map such as: http://codex99.com/cartography/images/berann/pacific_lg.jpg
I think you can still go out Cannibal Is rd. to Hawks Hill rd. to Copenhagen Rd., ....that is, if lower Hawks Hill Rd. isn't under water.
last time I checked trash pickup wasn't on the job description of our busy emergency services. That area has been cleaned several times I know of by volunteers (you, thanks?) and city staff. There is a trash can at the parking lot. Why not use it?
Del Norte Pier is not the woods, its a public owned, city greenway over run by invasive plants, refuse, drug addicts, prostitutes, and people in need of mental health services.
A murdered body was found in the bushes just east of there near Eureka Garbage, I would be very careful pushing into the bushes around there thinking everyone is an innocent soul discarded by society.
While it is important to learn from the past, to interpret the past using the philosophies of the present is misleading. The world was a different place, for right or wrong, people were different. To use the history of the past to judge those of the present regardless of their actions, is scapegoating.
