Beautiful building, excellent food, however ........... when we arrived at 6.10pm on Friday 15th May 2015, there were 4 tables occupied, amounting to approx 14 diners. We were supplied with menus and left to peruse - for a long time. Eventually, I went to the bar and asked to place an order. A customer sitting at the bar said they were having staffing problems but the man who appeared to be in charge went to our table to take3 the order. He brought 2 pints of Guiness and asked if we wanted water as well, which we confirmed. This did not arrive and I had to attract a waiter with a jug to request two glasses.

We waited over 30 minutes, but if he food is freshly cooked, then one does not mind.
As the meal was put in front of me, I commented that the plate was cold and was told it was hot in the middle, underneath. I felt it and commented that it was barely 'hot.' He went away and I cut into the end of the sausage (Bangers and Mash) and it was cokld, as was the sweet potato mash. I told my husband it was unacceptable, and to my surprise, the Chef appeared at the table, asking if there was a problem.. I explained a nd he tasted it, agreeing that it was below the required temperature.

He took it away, saying he would sort it out, leaving me holding a dirty knife and fork in the air. This took 10 minutes. When the meal returned, ther sausages had been split into three, lenghtwise, presumably to facilitate microwaving.

When I queried why the food was cold, he said there was a new assistant in the kitched. then he did excused it by saying he did not like to put the lamp on the food to keep hot etc etc.

The food was good, but by this time, my husband had finished his meal and the plate removed.

We asked for the Bill and I was surprised to read that no concession has been made for a spoiled evening, not to mention dangerously cool food which could have made me ill. I spoke with the man in charge who asked what I wanted him to do. I felt my meal ought to have been discounted by 50% as a matter of goodwill, but that I should not have had to ask.

He offered 10%, reeluctantly, which I refused - the entire exchange was conducted without anger or raised voices - and so he went off to speak with the Chef. He returned sayng that they felt 10% was fair as the meals had been consumed, so I had no choice but to accept, still saying that I was disappointed with the decisio n and attitude.

I was expecting a discount of approx $4 - imagine my bemusement to read that he had only given 10% off MY MEAL AND MY GUINNESS !!! so this amounted to $2

So derisory, so dismissive, obviously knowing and not caring that we were just passing throoough, never to return.

As I said, good food, but pity about the Service and lack of customer care.

Best sammiches on the north coast! Sure it costs more than a $5 foot long but it tastes soo much better and keeps well if you can't finish the whole thing in one sitting. Highly recommended!

Would not use the business again if possible. Order came late, then was incomplete. We were lied to about getting the rest of the items, phone calls were not answered. Overlays were poorly made, seams were puckered and not ironed. Chairs were uncovered, tables without candelabras. So far no refund for the missing items has been made. Very irresponsible and deceitful business dealings

good selection of fruits and candies depending on your appetite. Some frozen yogurts ready to go in a fridge. Tables, kid seats for bar counters as well, that is if you aren't take out. It is price per pound so if you want to go super cheap get the marshmallows covered in chocolate topping and you get the best bang for your buck, but for me the gummi bears are good there so there's no other option. They have smoothies and other items as well.
Personal opinion:
Strawberries looked good but I haven't tried them yet. Butterfinger is tasty/cheap, the waffle bowl/cones are very tasty if you want to just eat everything in your path.

This woman doesn't deserve the right to still be allowed to call herself a "photographer." In March 2011, my husband came home from an overseas deployment to do a photo shoot, since we were unable to be married in person due to the military. I spent a fortune on a dress, hair, makeup, flight to the states, etc, and she shot (I'm assuming she actually took any pics) at trinidad bay. I paid her the shoot fee and she said give her a week or two. Weeks went by, started turning to months. I begged her in emails, phone calls, facebook, through friends and even her husband that I just wanted the pictures, it was the only thing I had of my husband, who had since returned to deployment. I can't imagine anything more cruel than to photograph a couple that is spending a precious few days together, then blow them off and refuse to even contact me again. I trusted her because she did a varsity football shoot at EHS when my son was a senior. I reported her to the BBB almost a year later hoping for a resolution, but she never responded to them. It's sad that someone like this is allowed to prey on vulnerable people who put all their hopes and wishes in her, and it is unbelievable how Christina Russ thinks that it's okay to treat anyone like that. She knew my husband was re-deploying and she knew these pictures were all I had. Yet for whatever twisted reason, she ignored me. It's been almost 3 years, and not a day goes by that I do not think about what she did to us. And I also know that she has never even given us a second thought, and if so it was only to laugh at how she suckered us out of money, and gave us nothing. So be careful dealing with this snake.

Well, I waited a year before revisiting this poor excuse for a restaurant, so that the poor service I received would have an opportunity to work itself out, but you still suck. Did I really just pay +$15 for this tiny, mediocre cheeseburger, 3 jalapeno poppers, and some cheese fries? $2.40 of it extra for fricking nacho cheese out of a dispenser to drown my fries? I will NEVER do it again. Last time I intended to give you a chance to explain or make it right, but when I called to complain that you messed up every part of my order other than the milkshake, the little turd that answered said, "Well, I made the milkshake, so I'm feeling pretty good about that,". Seriously? You're not even gonna APOLOGIZE? I just hung up, and avoided visiting you for a year, hoping that it was just a matter of bad timing. I was wrong: It is apparently a permanent fixture for you to hire incompetent kids that have yet to develop a work ethic.
And WTF is the difference between a double bacon deluxe cheeseburger and just a double bacon cheeseburger? Because I asked for no pickles, no onions on a deluxe, and I have two patties, a strip of bacon broke in half, and some cheese on top of a ketchup-smeared bun. What is deluxe about that? And since there's no difference, why couldn't we just use the bacon cheeseburger combo you had listed on the board, and just charge me extra for bacon? Oh, wait, I see on "Yelp!" that someone points out that lettuce and tomato make it a "deluxe", so you just generally screwed up my order as well as overcharged me. I have never in my life seen such poor standards, uninvolved cashiers, and overcharging, even though I am becoming used to the local Dumboldt-level of customer service. I will be visiting every review page I can find to explain and describe what failures anyone that visits can expect from Bob's Footlong, and how the name is only appropriate in how deeply you are gonna get screwed.
