We'd like to thank Jennifer Fumiko Cahill and the North Coast Journal for featuring BullDoggies of Humboldt in a great article! We enjoy serving up the hotdogs to a wide range of folks who we think are the best!! Some come daily! Some come by every week. Still others come with their own containers hoping we have enough Homemade Macaroni Salad to "fill 'er up!" It is a lot of fun for us! We're very glad you stopped by and hope you'll become one of our regulars!! Jim and Margaret Stevens
oh. shit. I may never eat anywhere else again.
I love the Beloved Bean Bowl! Right re the DIY thing -- It's hard to have a little bit of fresh mango, and a fresh green salsa on hand at home, for example. Yay Beachcomber!
I love your column.
When Go-Go Bistro occupied this space they served a similar sandwich. The name of that sandwich as listed on the menu was "Reubenesque". The version served by Nourish is almost as good.
Great writing, it does my tummy a whirl.
But just so you know, I have met chickens (roosters) that could "drag you into a death roll" easily enough. Remember, birds are rather recently descended from dinosaurs, while alligators have been evolutionarily comatose for 200 million years.
Still, they ALL taste like chicken.
Food tasting is a very fulFILLing job.
I like the way Pam spreads the love.
You left out Las Casuelas. Also, I think Taco Loco wins, hands down. But best steak burrito? No contest! It's La Costa! Oh, and then let's not forget the best chicken mole....Gotta leave Fortuna on that one. Oaxaca Grill is #1!
I've been away for 3 years, but Ricos in Arcata used to be the best relleno for my taste!
Ditto what Nico said.
LaCosta in Fortuna has the best!
I just love your articles. Make's my mouth water every time. Tried to go to the Mexican restaurant last week and really want to bite this sandwich. Thank you,
I've often wondered about sanitation. I've seen her packing large dogs in the same vehicle with the food.
Sadly I reported the business "Royal" Bavarian Brezen to the health department after getting a royal case of food poisoning. The premises where the food is prepared are uninspected and unregulated.
Simply the best! We buy them daily!
Before there was The Colonel, there was Fried Chicken. Back East, it was often called Southern Fried Chicken, and was often offered on the menu as Chicken-In-A-Basket, on a bed of French Fries.
Yuch. I felt queasy just looking at the picture. Death on wheels.
