Gun seizures are the only form of asset forfeiture I embrace. Keep them out of circulation.
Glad to have done my jury duty last week in the case re Squires.

Hey Norman Kiley. might want to check this out "http://goo.gl/Ms4ebj". It got lots of useful features for editing a PDF file. very helpful PDF tool!
Thank you for that information.
It's no longer unusual to learn about critical public-interest advocacy from the blogs, not the media.
If Southern CA. is any indication it will take much suffering, violence, and environmental collapse before enough people learn the extent of the problem and take action to protect fresh water sources.
Thoughtful post ! Just to add my thoughts , others require a NY DTF IT-2664 , my colleagues encountered a sample form here https://goo.gl/TpxmW7.
It a well written article, it dares to cover more than most would. I have been a furry for 42 years before it had a following. It is sad that many groups get a shadow following them, tainting everything they do. Shriner conventions are tainted by sexual, comment and yet shrine hospital has saved thousands of lives, of children, from newborn to (17 years +364 days old), without 1 penny being spent by the family or social services. Using sex in the media sells, time slots, commercials, products, and even used as a weapon, to degrade or attack others, by threatening to say something that is fictional or a outlandish lie. A quote from an infamous person in history,"Tell a big enough lie long enough, and it becomes the truth". What should be said, it is believed to be the truth.I have been married to my Wife, a very sweet and loving woman for over 31 years, and also a furry. The sex part is not the norm, but the stray part of fury fandom, yes you may see books or pictures that are anything but G rated, but look again, is there a price tag, oh yes, as sex sells or attracts the eyes, its that, train wreck you can't stop watching. Sadly there are many that hide, their feelings, and instead drink to a point of suppressing their emotions. After a hard day at work, firing someone ,or making $20,000 to $1.2 million dollar decisions, I would put on the fursuit and go have fun acting comically with friends, and playing, venting the pressures of the day or week. I have talked to others who were not furry, and asked them to try and vent, instead of suppressing their life and feelings with drink or pills. To put it plainly, I have seen many who find, that is the reason they were pulled into furry fandom, at first, everything else is just," icing on the cake." to paraphrase; To some it is tempting to others to much, and to all a very, very, very, small part of what most of us truly enjoy, being a furry without the sexual part even being there.
Does there have to be correct zoning for this?
This sounds great on theory but again, you ripped off the city for your own selfish gains. I'd be pissed if I was your neighbor! A lot of hard working people trying to get by and pay their mortgage and meanwhile, you're inviting who knows what into the neighborhood. You are on a fast track to a lawsuit from your neighbors.
A correction on groundwater. California does have the ability and the mandate to regulate groundwater that is interconnected with surface water. Known as "underground streams" pumping interconnected groundwater without a water right and a permit has been illegal for decades. However, the state has taken few steps (and no steps in most of California) to regulate groundwater which is interconnected with surface flow. One problem is that the studies needed to properly define the extent of "interconnected" groundwater have not been done in most watersheds. Another is that we now know scientifically that all groundwater is interconnected with surface flows; it is just a matter of how close the connection is in space and time. California water law has not kept up with science in this regard.
If you think your neighbour is pumping interconnected groundwater you can file an anonymous compliant with Cal EPA (State Water Resources Board) on line at this link: https://oag.ca.gov/environment/contact . If a group of citizens all file complaints, and your community organizations do too, you will get attention from the State Water Board Public Trust and Water Rights. I suggest labelling your complaints as "Water Rights" and "Public Trust" complaint. That will get it to the right office. If you are a holder of a surface water right and you believe pumping of groundwater is negatively impacting your surface water right, make that allegation in your compliant.
Where citizens have filed Public Trust and Water Rights petitions en mass, the State Water Board has taken action, including along the Russian River and Mark West Creek in Mendocino County.
If you want more information on groundwater and Public Trust Complaints contact me and the North Coast Stream Flow Coalition (email@example.com).
"California is one of the last states in the nation to regulate ground water".
Despite a drought, climate change, and biodiversity collapse, these supervisors will do nothing to regulate ground water because it threatens "growth".
Yes, the same gibberish they used to justify spending their first term undermining years of public workshops for the purpose of deregulating development for their campaign contributors in the development industry.
Let's wait until we have a few major fires, violence over water extraction rights, and city water that needs treatment facilities we can't afford.
Each supervisor took turns appointing members of the development industry to the planning commission, one of Bohn's first actions in office was to get rid of planning commissioner Denver Nelson who called for water carrying capacity studies decades ago.
In Eureka and in general, most of Humboldt County's coastline is inaccessible to just about everyone, disabled included. So, while it's a thoughtful gesture to feature the disabled in this article, the basic geography of the area doesn't lend itself very well to open and unfettered access to the ocean in very many places. Exceptions include the Samoa peninsula, Clam Beach, Centerville beach and Trinidad. Strange in a way that the largest population centers on the coast (Eureka, Fortuna, Arcata) have limited or zero access to the coast. Promotional material gives outsiders the false impression there is great access to the coast when there is little.
I experienced living in Hayfork from 2008 through 2012. This article is very accurate. It was a nightmare. Our life was destroyed by commercial growers from Nevada who bought the lot next to ours right in downtown Hayfork. First came the clear cutting - they even cut trees on our property! Then they terraced the land with heavy equipment supplied by the public water works department. In one weekend, 200 full sized cannabis plants were installed in smart pots. Then the fun began! An RV of transient workers arrived and parked right in front of our living room window. Nothing like the sound of a huge generator out in the open running 24/7! And guns! Shooting anytime day and night. And I almost forgot about the trained security dogs running loose. My kids and I were scared to be in the front yard. Complaints about chemical runoff, wetland destruction, and unlawful habitation were ignored by law enforcement. In fact, the growers had a very cordial relationship with the authorities. I am not anti-weed, but this unbearable situation forced us to sell our home for a loss and move away. I have hope that legalization will stop the destruction of the earth in the mountainous, beautiful areas of California like Hayfork.
Great Article. Thanks for the info, super helpful. I mostly use http://goo.gl/pwhg43 to edit my PDFs. I think it also allows you to to create fillable pdfs and esign them.
Where did I miss that trimming is now against the law?
This has me disrespect the Sheriff's office even more than I did when they dropped the ball on investigating a drive-by shooting up here. Guess entrapping trimmers is deemed more important to Mills.
Lyal, he was a man we all went to for many things!
A very special person and man !
Great memories! We are thankful for his knowledge and thankful he helped us and shared his knowledge..
I feel so Blessed he lived in our community and was dedicated to helping youth and everyone! With our animals... Thank you, Lyal
Yes!!! Thank you, Leon!!!!
Just came across this article about Lazio's. I fished off the Lazio cannery loading dock when I was a munchkin, 10, 11 years old. Now it's 2016, I'm 62 and living up here in Crescent City.
Yeah, Let's see, "Duce St." the Card Room, Golden Horn, Silver Dollar Club, Vince's Log Cabin. Myself and a few of my buddies Used to ride our bikes from Harris and California streets with our fishing poles down to Lazio's and kill a couple hours fishing off the docks. Those were the days, nothing like today.
