If there's 'best cop' there ought to be 'best bartender'
They really are the best. One nice detail is that they serve the dressing/dip in a small ceramic bowl, as opposed to Lost Coast who serves theirs in a paper cup, which tends to disintegrate after a few wing-dunkings.

Sorry to say that a fire has put Pho Thien Long on hiatus for awhile...
John Tutuska passed on to a brighter spot on Sunday, October 15th, 2012. Rest in peace John.
I sooo agree with this choice. Fern canyon was GREAT! I am from the midwest and was in the area recently and would be considered your typical "Outsider". On our drive I saw the beauty that bordered the highway, the endless redwoods, the wandering elk, the massive ferns and the scent of pure fresh air. Definitely a redwoods area gem.
FYI...your father's ankle is much better and I got the mud out of my jeans from my great fall while performing my balancing act on a log.
I laughed so hard reading this, I cried. Then I read it again, and cried so more. I also <3 Café Brio and their chocolate "chip" cookies. Well deserved win.
any way to see the voting breakdown..the whole thing? just to see who all was voted for
A heartfelt thank-you Jim! I have followed your weather forecasts through all the storms and your career changes. I even watched you on the San Francisco channel on week-ends. You made the weather fun!
Great job, thank-you.
A Weather Fan!
Even when the forcast was bad, I still was calmed by Jim's attitude. What was even better was he looked and his voice was like my Dad. That makes two people who I miss now. Thanks Jim, your the best weatherman ever.
I'm glad that the vote was NOT for another Mexican Resturant. (I'm soooo tired of Mexican food.)
Well, since KHUM is the station I listen to on the internet, and since Mike is our son, I have to agree with the good news. But, I think Pat should be given credit for letting his employess to what they think is right. When I worked for KQED FM is the late sixties, we had the same ethic.... give the people what they want and they will listen.
