Re: “Poets on the Plaza

I would like to see some kind of "barrier" between the two areas, the Poetry area and the restaurant. The noise from the restaurant is loud. Also, the lighting is blinding to the point I wanted to change my seat and face the podium from a different direction. So my 3 Star is more based on the surroundings than the event itself.

Re: “High Noon: Laughing Stories in the Age of Doom

Great entertainer...Loved his show at the Mason in Sf last year...Jesse is hysterical...His stories are point-on about the darkness and spirit light of our times...His recalling of his years teaching at Princeton and relating sections of his famous book,' Quantum Physics as Salvation' gave real understanding of his background...

Re: “Intertribal Elder Gathering

I love this event, go every year. Native dances, music, herbs, handiwork and great food lovingly prepared. A feast honoring elders and veterans. My spirit is refreshed.

Re: “Mushroom Fair

Way more interesting than you might think. Bring mushrooms or pictures of ones from your yard for Identification by an expert. Tables of real mushrooms, edible and inedible with knowledgeable people available for questions. Information about how mushrooms and trees and nature help each other.

Re: “E.T.

It was our first time. Someone left a parked car right under where they were showing the movie, which I suspect wasn't supposed to be there. ? Other than that, it wasn't too drizzly or cold out and I miss not having a drive-in theater here, so we'll try again on Sept. 27. Oh, and the Scones were real good.
