Re: “North Bay Rotaract

This is an awesome group to be a part of. They are always doing so much for the community. Another great part is that you don't have to fully commit to everything that they have going on if you have a busy life. I would fully suggest checking it out.

Re: “Qigong

Today I attended for the 1st time to Shullie's Qigong class and I am so grateful to finally find a practitioner who does this work on regular basis. She is so natural at it!! loves this work and enjoys doing it. Qigong is a wonderful practice to slow down your brain, be in the now, opens your heart and cells with lots of oxygen, as your life depends on it! :) Breathing is so important and so not done well enough for most of us... and that is why I have been looking for Qigong classes for a while, as I know through my own holistic practice with bio-energetic synchronization technique how important the breathing is! it is needed for every cell of your body to function well in every stage of it. I highly recommend this class to everyone who is seeking gentle and powerful mind body connection practice.

Re: “Eureka City Council

Come and watch Eureka locals piss and moan about the homeless and get policies and ordinances passed that punish the poorest most vulnerable men, women and children.

Re: “Poets on the Plaza

It needs to be pointed out that the rent for Poetry on the Plaza is gratis (free). It is meant to serve to Poetry community in our lives. Unfortunately , we have the same MC of the event after 12 long years, without any change , or dialogue. The show is advertized heavily, and is not sustained by its own merit. The MC needs to be turned over to different talent from time to time . Thiis change is long overdue !

Re: “Volunteer Orientation

I have lots of time and I would really, really want to help doing anything I can to help others who need me helping hands. I will be at the meeting Monday 2:30. I am also starting my garden which I truly hope I'm bless to share with all who enjoy a variety of organic, no seed treatment, no gmo just a lot of singing, talking and caring love they grow plentiful and we have fresh veggie, fruit, herbs and bouquets of flowers for all!
Looking forward to Monday, I'm sure hoping you have a job for me!

Re: “Arts McKinleyville

Also during McKinleyville Arts Alive, in the Silver Lining Restaurant at the airport-
https://www.facebook.com/events/3398841895…

A show by Herman Bouler at the Silver Lining Restaurant. The reception is tomorrow evening. Please join me - I'd love to have your company and spend some time with you!

"Artists and pilots utilize the same side of the brain to do their craft. I am grateful to have that attribute, and happy that I can show my photos at the primary airport of training for my private pilot’s license. I've spent a few hours slow and low, flying over this runway, landing only a few times, turning around and doing it again. I love aviation, and when I heard that there has never been an art show at the
Silver Lining featuring airplanes, I thought of my airshow photos. Photographing airplanes at an airshow is fun and intense. A constant input of planes and people make this a must-go-to."

Live Music by JD Jeffries and Michael Stewart

Also, in the main part of the airport is a show called "Women's Work," art by Elizabeth Berrien, Lynn Carlin, Becky Evans, Lida Penkova, Georgia Long, Micki Dyson-Flatmo and Rachel K. Schlueter.

Re: “Poets on the Plaza

I would like to see some kind of "barrier" between the two areas, the Poetry area and the restaurant. The noise from the restaurant is loud. Also, the lighting is blinding to the point I wanted to change my seat and face the podium from a different direction. So my 3 Star is more based on the surroundings than the event itself.
