Women’s Health Naturally

What:

Eureka Natural Foods is hosting a Wellness Workshop devoted entirely to women’s health on Wednesday, March 17th from 6:30-8 pm.  Titled, Women’s Health Naturally, the workshop explores non traditional remedies for health issues facing the lifecycle of women.

Eureka Natural Foods has been hosting a series of workshops to educate the community on non-traditional and preventive methods for optimum wellness.  “Women are often the first line of illness defense and treatment in their homes, but are usually the last to take care of themselves,” comments Suzanne Littlefield, Wellness Department Manager, “so this workshop hopes to empower them to maintain or enhance their wellness naturally.”

Whether you are new to natural, alternaive medicine or a practitioner there is always something to learn at the workshops.  The public is welcomed to explore which remedies to choose and how to use them.  Homeopathic medicines are effective, non-toxic and safe even for babies and pregnant women.

Joanne Witte owner of Homeopathy and Health, will talk about specific remedies for women’s health issues.

Joanne has been practicing Classical Homeopathy since graduating from the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy in 1999.  She has recently expanded her knowledge with the conclusion of a 3-year post-graduate training with one of the world’s most revered homeopaths, Italy’s own, Massimo Manglialavori in Massachusetts.

The workshop is free but attendees need to reserve a seat by contacting Suzanne at the store by calling (707) 442-6325, extension 128 by Tuesday, March 16th.  The meeting will be held in the dining area at the front of the store and is limited to about 40 people.

Eureka Natural Foods’ mission is taken from Hippocrates 460 B.C. “Let your food be your medicine and let your medicine be your food.”  Family owned and locally operated since the early 1950’s, Eureka Natural Foods now operates a beautiful, new 27,000 sf store at 1450 Broadway in Eureka at the foot of 15th Street.
