Winter Festival Fundraiser
What:
The Fortuna High School Travel Squad is planning a safe and secure fun place for children to play and the parents to shop for the Christmas Holidays. There will be carnival games; food, craft vendors and Santa will be there to take a picture with you. 12-4 in the Fortuna High School Gym on Sunday December the 5th.
The Travel Squad is raising funds to fly to New York, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. in May of 2011. There are 48 children going and good grades and fundraising participation are allowing them to make this historic trek. Please come and do some Holiday Season Shopping with us while the kids are having fun playing Wheel of Fortune or the Cup Cake Walk. It will be loads of fun and set the mood for this Holiday Season.
*To date, there are 48 kids on the squad and each child needs to raise $1750.00. Any support you give is GREATLY appreciated. This is a once in a lifetime trip for many of these students. Some have never been out of Fortuna or even been in an airplane. What an exciting cause. Thank you.
