Winter Arts Faire

What:

The 33rd annual Winter Arts Faire will take place at the Mateel Community Center in Redway on Saturday and Sunday, December 12th and 13th. Bringing holiday cheer to southern Humboldt for more than 30 years, this beloved family event is also one of the best holiday shopping opportunities around and offers up a wide range of gift ideas from handcraft artisans and non-profit organizations.  The celebration kicks off the winter season with a lively mix of 60 vending booths, hearty cuisine by Cortney Gossett, diverse musical entertainment, and children’s storytelling, plus a visit from Santa from noon to 3pm each day.

The event will be open from 10am to 6pm and costs only $5 per day.  Mateel Community Center members get in free, as do those under 12 and over 65. Mateel memberships will be available at the door for those wishing to take advantage of the free admission offer.

Winter Arts Faire will also be a drop off location for both Food Pantry and Toys For Tots, and attendees are encouraged to bring donations for these two great community programs.  Please bring only new, unwrapped toys for Toys For Tots and canned, non-perishable foods (no home-canned goods) for Food Pantry

For more information call 923-3368 or visit www.mateel.org and come share in the holiday spirit at the Mateel Community Center’s 33rd annual Winter Arts Faire on Saturday and Sunday, December 12th and 13th.
