VibeSquaD, aka Aaron Holstein, is Colorado’s most beloved bass music producer/performer/innovator. His trained musical background contribute to his unique take on bass music, which carries him around the country playing packed clubs coast to coast. Since VibeSquaD’s inception in 2007, he has released three full-length albums, two previous EP’s, as well as remixes and singles for Interchill, Multi Music and Proboscis. The New Creatures EP is his next release, showcasing his top-notch production skills and originality over the course of six tracks. The EP is charged with the energy and positivity that has come to define VibeSquaD’s signature sound and vibrant stage persona. In addition to his deep electronic production abilities, New Creatures shows the influence Aaron’s twenty plus years experience playing live music in various touring groups has on his sound. As a trained multi instrumentalist with a jazz background, VibeSquaD adds melodic sensibility to these gems of bass music and truly delivers on in this six-track EP. Equipped with tweaked vocal samples, polyrhythmic textures, and trunk rattling bass, these tracks grab hold and refuse to let go. Swirling, soaring synth textures weave throughout hard-hitting drum patterns on top of crushing bass thick enough to send any dance floor into a frenzy.

Heyoka, AKA Andrei Olenev, is a cosmic auditory scientist found in the Bay Area noosphere, who has been blowing minds with his sonic manipulations. Muti Music first released Heyoka’s “Space Case EP” in 2008 and included him on their growing roster of talented artists. His albums ‘Whomp Gland & Pineal Dub’, ‘Gate Code’ and the all new ‘Marklar’ album in 2010 have shown that he is a producer consistently evolving his musical style while managing to maintain a signature sound that is distinctively ‘Heyoka’. His early influences in Downtempo, Dub and IDM combined with midtempo dancefloor genres have helped create a very unique sound that combines relentless basslines, hip hop rhythms, dub vibes, and musicality and melody, all within an atmosphere of heavy psychedelia and alien dimensions. The response to his emergence so far has been overwhelming with Heyoka developing audiences and playing festivals from US to Canada and Australia. Resident Anti-Hero is committed to the ongoing development of a contemporary mythology that is both politically aware, and soundly folkloric. Through the use of music, extended metaphor, and storytelling, the band offers an in-depth narrative encompassing issues of world politics, environmental awareness, social justice, survivalism, and sustainable living. The fictional world of Resident Anti-Hero and the Anti-Hero Underground is intended to be an ongoing mythological journey, exemplifying and critiquing the world it was created within. Resident Anti-Hero is a unique fusion of literature and sound. Sonically, the group is a fusion of otherground hip-hop & electronica, mixed with a dub technique. Literarily, the project incorporates a novelistic theme of speculative fiction together with lyric-based poetry. The band’s affinity for instrumentation and effects allows for a distinctive and incomparable Live PA show. Resident Anti-Hero was founded in the rainy forests of the America’s Pacific Northwest by artists/activists concerned with raising political awareness, and combating the lack of relevant culture heroes in modern day society. Resident Anti-Hero’s special breed of sub-terranian guerrilla-hop has been combating machine culture since 2002.
