Veterans Center Ground Breaking

What:

The Board of Directors for North Coast Veterans Resource Center a division of Vietnam Veterans of California is proud to announce the ground breaking of its 4th street transitional facility.  NCVRC assists unemployed, under employed and homeless veterans of U.S. Military service.  NCVRC is a non-profit agency providing services to veterans of all eras and conflicts.

10 years in planning, development, and with the sustained support of the community will be culminated in a ceremony on June 11th at 109 4th Street Eureka California at 1:00pm.

Vietnam Veterans of California Inc. has a thirty year history of working with veterans in California. North Coast Veterans Resource Center has a fourteen year history with the city of Eureka.

North Coast Veterans Resource Center will operate the resource center for all Humboldt County Veterans.

This transitional facility will operate for homeless veterans to aid in their stabilization and re-integration into the civilian society.  It will house 34 men and women veterans.  It is the largest veteran’s transitional facility north of San Francisco.

Many of our returning veterans use North Coast Veterans Resource Center for community referrals, employment and job training, intensive case management, and currently a 12 bed transitional facility.
