New this year: Join the parade of lions, tigers and bears (oh my!) led by crowd favorites, the Marching Lumberjacks around the Arcata Plaza beginning at 5 p.m. This gives the children a chance to show off their costumes. At the close of the parade, participants are invited to indulge in a sweet treat on the Plaza's center sponsored by Arcata Main Street and Safeway.

All participants are invited to join our Halloween Costume Contest. Winners in four categories (0-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-8 years and 9-12 years) get great prizes from downtown merchants. An exciting and safe time for all members of the family!
