Tim Clewell: Assorted Flavors (with music by Mister Moonbeam and David Jaberi)
Eureka, California. December 5th - Empire Squared is showing the fantastical works of art by our member Tim Clewell. The exhibition, Assorted Flavors, will feature a selected body of work while studying art at Humboldt State University. Mr. Clewell integrates social and poitical concerns within his works often critiquing contemporary society within a pop art/cartoon aesthetic. Mr. Clewell is also interested in having a visual conversation dealing with the ideas of Lowbrow art vs. Highbrow art.
Mr Clewell will be displaying his works on saturday December 5th from 6pm to 9pm during Arts Alive! at Empire Squared which is located at 47b West 3rd street in Eureka, CA. a half a block south of the Eureka CO-OP. At 9:30 live music will be played by Mister Moonbeam and David Jaberi. Mister Moonbeam music can be described as Pop / Western Swing / Chinese pop. The event is free and open to people of all ages.
Empire Squared - Empire Squared is a gallery ran by a thriving collective of established artists. We are a non-prfit organization and are blanketed under the Ink People Center for Art.
