The 2nd year MFA students at Dell’Arte, for their last performance of the year, have based their explorations on a request: ” …tell me a story.”. For their public performance they will host a small audience that travels the old Odd Fellows hall to find groupings of characters relating humorous and mysterious stories. In some instances the audience will find themselves absorbed into the conditions of the story.
From early childhood stories introduce us to the themes and characters that will form our sense of duty, honor, of shame, of mystery. It is via story that we are introduced to family eccentrics, the origins of traditions; it is from stories that we acquire a sense of place. As adults, stories allow us a base for the development of hopes and goals. Come and be enthralled.”Tell Me A Story” runs Thursday - Sunday, June 4-7 at 8pm in the Carlo Theatre in Blue Lake. Tickets.
