What:
This year the Humboldt County Library will be sponsoring a Summer Reading Club at the Main Library in Eureka, all Branch Libraries and the Bookmobile. The theme is “Be Creative @ Your Library” and young participants will use their skills to accomplish eight creative projects.
Each club member will receive a gameboard which shows the finished projects. There are always steps in the creative process and each step is earned by reading library books. It takes 24 books to complete the game. Younger children can also play the game by listening to stories read to them by an older sibling or parent. Upon completion, each child will receive a coupon for a free personal pizza from Round Table.
