Studio Artists Return from SF Art Slam

What:

The 2009 de Young Museum Art Slam Record Cover Project and Slideshow will be on display at The Studio this Saturday, June 6th from 6-9 pm during Arts Alive. In March, thirty-five Studio artists participated in the Art and Disability Festival at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. Artists submitted work to the Art Slam Slideshow and traveled to San Francisco to host an interactive record cover making art project exhibit in the Museum.

This Saturday, June 6th, The Studio will be presenting the slideshow along with the Record Cover Project. The community is invited to join us in making more record covers add to the project. The Studio, a program of the Humboldt Community Access and Resource Center (HCAR), is located at 139 Third Street in Eureka.
