Having proven equally adept as an actor, screenwriter, playwright, novelist and legendary comedian Steve Martin is a true Renaissance man whose very successful foray into songwriting, bluegrass, and banjo should come as little surprise. His first all-music release, The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo, won the 2010 Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album and the accompanying concert tours have sold out across the country. For this special performance, he’s accompanied by the hot-shot bluegrass band the Steep Canyon Rangers in an evening of fast-flying fingers and fret board pyrotechnics.
