Spring Fling Carnival
What:
Following the Easter Egg Hunt at Rohner Park at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 3rd, hundreds of kids will flock to downtown Fortuna to play games and see the attractions. This event was such a huge success last year that business owners and families are excited to see it come back. Last year parents called the Spring Fling “a fun and cheap event for this economy…truly about the kids.”
Carnival tickets are just 10 cents each and you only need one ticket per game! Not only will there be over 20 school carnival-style games to choose from, but kids can also go for a carriage ride and explore an ambulance, Fire Truck, and a police car. Parents are invited to bring a camera and take pictures with the giant Easter Bunny. Music will be provided by Scott’s Audio.
Parents will get a chance to peruse the raffle items donated by Downtown Fortuna businesses. There will be a lot of unique items and gift certificates! Tickets for the raffle are just 50 cents each. Downtown businesses will be open so that parents can see what they have to offer.
For family fun, come to Main Street Fortuna on Saturday, April 3rd from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. For more information on the Easter Egg Hunt, Spring Fling Carnival or other Downtown events please call the Downtown hotline at 407-9494 and leave a message.
