What:
What could be better on a cool summer evening than a gathering around a campfire to listen to some eerie tales from an ethereal storyteller? In a campground by surrounded by redwoods with the Pacific echoing through the darkness beyond? For all ages? For free?
Then come join the Lost Coast’s premiere wandering spirit for a macabre evening of frightful fun at the Campfire Center at Patrick’s Point State Park on Saturday, July 24th at 8:30 pm, just as twilight begins to gather. Spectral Storyteller and Ghostly Host Carpathian spins his haunting tales for the whole family, giving the summer a taste of the Halloween Season. There’ll be a roaring fire and hot chocolate to help ward off the chill, but don’t be surprised if goosebumps are raised in spite of all precautions!
Patrick’s Point State Park is located just above Trinidad off of Route 101 at Exit 734 for Patrick’s Point Drive. Go through the Main Gate and follow the signs for the Campfire Center. Admission to the park and the event is free. For further information, please call 707-677-3110.
