At the 11 o'clock service this Sunday, July 13, special music will be the popular song "You Raise Me Up," sung by the AUMC Women's Chorus. Written by Rolf Lovland of Norway with lyrics by Irish novelist Brenden Graham, "You Raise Me Up" has become popular throughout the UK, Ireland, and the US and has been translated into Swedish, Japanese, and Spanish. It was nominated for a Grammy and was sung in commemorations of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Arcata United Methodist Church, located at 1761 Eleventh Street, invites everyone to join us for a contemporary Praise Service each Sunday at 9:00 am and a Traditional Service at 11:00 am. Following each service, coffee and light refreshments are served in the Social Hall.
