What:
Spare Change will perform original youth theatre at the Arcata Playhouse on Friday February 18, 6:30 pm. The performance features skits about teen pregnancy and STD prevention, healthy relationships, diversity, self respect, drug abuse, abstinence, and other topics related to teen health.
Spare Change will be performing in support of the Trevor Project, which is the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
There is a suggested donation of $5 per person. Donations support the Trevor Project as well as Spare Change programs.
Spare Change is a local Peer Education Program, performing original youth theatre with the goal of educating and empowering youth. This program is made possible by TAPESTRY and is funded (or funded in part) by CA Department of Public Health Office of Family Planning Grant # 05-45276, STD Community Interventions Program and local donors.
