Panache presents Soul Clap Dance Competition with $100 prize featuring DJ Mr. Jonathan Toubin, celebrity judges and more Sunday, November 15, at Arcata Theatre Lounge, 1036 G St in Arcata. Doors open at 9 p.m. Cost is $5 and is 18 and over. 

Panache presents Soul Clap, the NY dance competition that gained notoriety for bringing together raucous crowds of young and old folks who want to dance and prove that they know how to shake their moneymaker. Created by the infamous Mr. Jonathan Toubin, who has gained a reputation for spinning first rate funk and soul and will DJ the contest, which will be determined by celebrity panelist judges including Zachary Hruby (Zac Institute), Aimee Hennessy (La Dolce Video), Bryan Phillips (Big Pete’s Pizzaria), Jesse Pearson (Buffy Swayze, Arrogant Hare), Victor Temple (New World Ballet), Monica Topping (KSLG) and Michelle Cable (Panache Booking).
