Humboldt State University is holding a collaborative exhibit based on the seven deadly sins: Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Greed, Wrath, Envy and Pride.  All students and faculty associated with the art department were invited to express one or more of the sins in an artwork using a small sheet of "tin" metal and incorporating an array of mediums and techniques.  Each entry on display is part of a silent auction to raise funds for the art department.  These funds will go towards bringing guest artists and lecturers, as well as the juror for the Annual HSU Student Art Juried Exhibition.

The 7 Deadly Sins exhibition is located on the HSU campus at the Reese Bullen Gallery from October 30th through December 4th.  An opening reception is held on Thursday October 30th from 4-6 p.m. in the gallery.  The public is invited to view and bid on the pieces in support of HSU's Art Department.

Sin in tin artworks are eligible for auction through the entire exhibit. Each piece will be sold to the highest bidder, ending on the closing night of December 4th at 7pm.
