On Saturday, Dec. 11, North Group Sierra Club is sponsoring a free public hike in the Arcata Community Forest. This medium-difficulty, 8-mile hike begins at the Redwood Park trail sign in the parking lot one mile east of the ramp intersecting Hwy 101 and 14th Street.
