Salmon Bake to Benefit Carlson and Frye Families’ Blue Creek/Ah-Pah Village

What:

Salmon Bake to Benefit Blue Creek/ Ah Pah Traditional Yurok Village
Dell’Arte sponsors benefit to aid Carlson and Frye Families’ Ah Pah Village
Blue Lake, Calif. - Intirgue at Ah-Pah premiered 30 years ago in Blue Lake’s Perigot Park. Dell’Arte decided to remount it because the fish are still in danger, the dams are still up and our river water is now being poisoned with a blue-green algae that is propagating in the river because of the abuse of one of our most precious resources — water. As Scar says in Ah-Pah, “We just don’t like seeing our water flushed down somebody else’s drain.” We know there are strong groups and organizations who are tirelessly working for the benefit of the rivers. We encourage you all to support the ongoing work that is so necessary to the future life of this place. Some of the most powerful community work is going on at the Carlson and Frye
Families’ Blue Creek-Ah Pah Traditional Yurok Village (http://www.bluecreekahpah.org ). Dell’Arte is proud to sponsor a Salmon Bake benefit, before the 8pm performance on July 11th (seperate admission ticket required)of “Intrigue at Ah-Pah,” for this unique project. The $15 dinner ticket includes Klamath Salmon, side dishes, and 1 bottle of Native Springs water. To buy tickets to the salmon bake benefit or Intrigue at Ah-pah go to dellarte.com or call (707) 668-5662, extension 5.
