What:
The Boys and Girls Club of the Redwoods is hosting a rummage sale and family fun day on Saturday, July 17*th* from 8am-2pm. We are seeking gently used items to sell. We will not accept any appliances. All proceeds from this sale will be used to support Teen Center programs and summer field trips. In addition to the rummage sale, there will be a Jolly Jumps’ bounce house and obstacle course open for kids of all ages. Beverages and snacks will also be sold.
The Boys & Girls Club has five sites to serve you this summer, with locations in Loleta, Table Bluff, Eureka and Crescent City. Each of our sites will be offering lunch and snacks, fun programs and activities, field trips and more. The Teen Center has been open since the fall of 1995 and offers fun and enriching programs for teens in grades 6-12. The Teen Center is open Monday-Friday from 11am-5pm during the summer, offering free lunch at 11:45am.
As our vision states, we envision healthy, empowered and engaged youth who appreciate and respect themselves, each other, their families, the community and the environment. We rely heavily on the generosity of the community to help us realize this vision, as investors and partners in youth development.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods serves over 2,000 youth in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties, via after school and summer development programs. If you would like more information about the Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods, its programs and services, or would like to donate to the rummage sale, please contact Liz Smith, Executive Director, at 707-441-1030 or lsmith@bgcredwoods.org
