Rising II—Keep the Phoenix Soaring

What:

Humboldt Domestic Violence Services Proudly presents: “Rising II: Keep The Phoenix Soaring”. In April of last year our Safe House was destroyed by fire.  The following month we gathered together for “Rising from the Ashes,” an incredible event. Our community supported our agency in this difficult time. This year we are facing disastrous cuts from the state budget – our Safe House is in peril again!

Join us on June 27th from 6-9 p.m. at the Veteran’s Building on H St between 10th and 11th for “Rising II– Keep the Phoenix Soaring”.

Enjoy an evening with live music, appetizers from the Avalone, Bless My Soul, Curley’s, Hurricane Kate’s, Two Mom’s Party Planning, Ramones, Lost Coast Brewery and local wineries, and a complementary drink.

Featuring soulful, blues, and jazz music by:  Karen Dumont, Spanky McFarlane, Boomsauii, Bob Ebanstein, Michelle White, Julie Froblom, and The Anna Hamilton Trio.

Tickets are $25.00 or 2 for $45.00 and are available at the door, The Works or at hdvs.org.  Call 444-9255 for more information.
