On Sunday, July 27, Redwood Region Audubon Society is sponsoring a free public field trip to the North Jetty and Eureka Waterfront to observe late-summer seabirds. The focus will be on species that nest elsewhere and visit our rich waters to feed at this time of year. Meet leader Ken Burton (707-825-1124) at 8 a.m. at the end of Woodley Island (near the fisherman statue).
