Turnbull, will cover basic pruning of ornamental trees and shrubs as well as creative solutions to the overgrown and over planted garden in “How to Prune and Renovate the overgrown Garden”. The types of pruning cuts are shown and discussed. Cass will also present a slideshow of how to prune a tree, including branch collar ID and early training of trees, including bark, double leaders, and mature tree pruning in “Tree Pruning 1”. Deborah Giraud, Farm advisor at the UC Cooperative extension, will lead you in Integrated Pest Management. Professionals get CEU’S.
