Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays will meet at 6:30 p.m.  Monday at First Congregational Church, 900 Hodgson St., in the Social Hall.PFLAG is a confidential support group meeting for parents, family and friends of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons. The group’s vision is to celebrate diversity and envision a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. PFLAG welcomes the participation and support of all who share in, and hope to realize, this vision. Its mission is to promote the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends, through support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights.
