What:
Thanksgiving weekend, Saturday, Nov. 27th, the Riverwood is so proud and so happy and so excited to bring back Petunia & the Vipers. The Vipers are mainly the band that was on the road with the immortal Ray Condo who played the Riverwood many times before he passed on, and then either they found Petunia or Petunia found them, but together, they are one of the most incredible, enjoyable and exciting bands that I have EVER had on my stage. His first time was in April and he played in the middle of the week without much advance, but everyone who was in that room knew they were seeing a very special show. Petunia and the Vipers are irresistible, contagious, astounding and totally entertaining. His combination of rock-a-billy, swing, honky-tonk and yodeling will keep the audience clapping and hollering for more. Obviously, you can tell that I love Petunia and the Vipers. Actually, Petunia will be working with myself and other to put together a Honky-Tonk festival here in Southern Humboldt. We are aiming for the last weekend in July and while he is here, we will be exploring several venues. Please read his link and help me get the work out about this great show. If everyone gets tired of football, shopping, turkey and relatives, bring it on down to the Riverwood Inn that Saturday night and kick it up. Grandma and Grandpa will love Petunia too!
