Six Rivers Planned Parenthood presents a workshop for parents and their daughters. “Girl Power – Women Power” will be presented on Monday, November 9th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for girls ages 13–16. This interactive workshop is designed to examine the paths that lead to healthy and powerful lives as young women. Topics include: body image, media messages about sex, family values, birth control, peer pressure, how to say an effective “no,” STDs and HIV, healthy relationships, dating, love, and responsibility. Presented by Alison Hodges, health educator.
