As the only female member of the best-selling group, Portuondo transcended the landmark album and film with two Grammy Award-nominated records of her own, all the while enchanting audiences around the globe with her effervescence and timeless charm. For her first major U.S. tour since 2004, she’s signed up some of Cuba’s best-known musicians as her backing band for a concert that revisits the romantic Afro-Cuban boleros and Brazilian-influenced jazz that made her a star in the ‘50s.
