North Coast Parents will be sponsoring play time at Moonstone Beach on Tuesday, June 30 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Moonstone Beach is located off of Scenic Drive at the end of Moonstone Beach Road in Westhaven.
Parents and their babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children are invited to bring sand toys, kites and swimsuits and join us for a good ol’ romp on the beach. Depending on the tide there is a fun cave to explore. The Little River is always fun to play in also.
Sponsoring the outing is North Coast Parents (NCP), a local grassroots organization that was created 20 years ago to serve as a support group for parents of babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children. NCP offers activities, small play groups, field trips, and meetings in safe, nurturing environments that provide socialization for young children and their parents. Also offered is a babysitting co-op, parents’ night out events and meals to new parents. A monthly newsletter listing NCP activities and family-oriented community events is sent to members.
