North Coast Parents’ Annual Winter Party

What:

Parents or caregivers of infants, toddlers or preschool-school aged child(ren) are invited to come and be a part of annual festivities at our Winter Party on Friday, December 11 from 4:30-7:30 pm at the Humboldt Area Foundation, 373 Indianola Road in Bayside.

Please bring a dish for everyone to share; we provide drinks. We will be participating in the Toys for Tots and Food for People fundraisers, so you may bring a new, unwrapped toy and/or a non-perishable food item to donate, if you wish. Jose Quezada will be playing the guitar and Shoshanna will be performing. There will be arts & crafts for kids.

Sponsoring the outing is North Coast Parents (NCP), a local grassroots organization that was created 20 years ago to serve as a support group for parents of babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children.  NCP offers activities, small play groups, field trips, and meetings in safe, nurturing environments that provide socialization for young children and their parents. Also offered is a babysitting co-op, parents’ night out events and meals to new parents. A monthly newsletter listing NCP activities and family-oriented community events is sent to members. Annual membership is $35 and scholarships are available. For more information on NCP, please call 444-3627 or look at our website for our current activities schedule at www.northcoastparents.org.
