Local jazz pianist Darius Brotman will give a talk about improvisation and
perform some tunes on Friday, January 21 at 7:00 PM at the Westhaven
Center for the Arts. Enjoy snacks, drinks and art at this delightful venue
and learn how jazz musicians improvise. $5-10 sliding scale.
Brotman has been playing locally for many years and hosts “Gone Sides” on
KHSU Tuesdays at 8:00 PM. This show is part of the Third Friday jazz
series at the Center. It’s located at 501 S. Westhaven Drive (take the
