Mutt Strut and Meow March Registration
What:
14TH ANNUAL MUTT STRUT & 1st ANNUAL MEOW MARCH- Participants raise pledges from friends, family, and co-workers to help the homeless animals of Humboldt County! The Mutt Strut dog parade starts at 11am on Sunday, August 16th at Halvorsen Park. The Meow March caters to our feline companions, featuring a virtual tour of several of our nation’s most well-respected animal sanctuaries.
COLLECTING PLEDGES – Download a pledge sheet to collect donations in person, or sign up online at www.woofstock.org to create a customized website where you can post photos of you with your pet and collect online pledges. Send an email with your website link to friends and family locally and out of the area. Join with your friends to create a ‘team’ and raise even more money for our animal friends.
HOW TO REGISTER – A pre-event registration party will be held at the Sequoia Humane Society’s Pet Adoption Center on Sunday, June 28th from 1-4pm. You can also register online at www.woofstockorg. Check in time for the Mutt Strut begins at 10:00 a.m. on August 16th. Please bring your completed Registration Form, Pledge Sheet, money/checks collected and proof of your dog’s rabies vaccination to the registration table. (Minimum $25 pledge to enter.) Registration materials can also be delivered in person or mailed to SHS at 6073 Loma Ave., Eureka, CA 95503. Checks may be made payable to the Sequoia Humane Society. Individual participants who collect pledges totaling $100 or more or teams collecting $1,000 or more will receive a free Woofstock t-shirt(s) and free entry into one of our Dog Contests. Top pledge earners win fabulous prizes! All dogs must be leashed, dog & people friendly, and wearing valid license and/or ID tags.
