Mountain Bike Guide Training
What:
Mountain Bike Guide Training: This is a two day, comprehensive, session that endows the participant with the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to share the excitement of mountain biking with others. Mountain biking is a rapidly growing industry, with many riding destinations emerging nationally and internationally. The skills acquired in this training are a perfect foundation for those interested in working within the adventure industry or wishing to pursue guiding in one of many popular biking destinations. This training gives a mechanical understanding of the bicycle, outlines accident response procedures and discusses group dynamics and trail etiquette. Mountain Bike Guide Training also offers an understanding of trail types as well as an understanding of what riding is suited for various skill levels. This information gives participants the tools to assess other riders and to supportively help riders progress in their abilities and appreciation of mountain biking.
