Monthly Pancake Breakfast

What:

This is an opportunity for folks already involved with the Exchange to come and meet each other and for new folks to come and find out more about the project.

Also, with the February Pancake Breakfast, we’ll be continuing our new effort to assist people in gaining skills and connections to foster exchange between community members with a mini skillshare workshop.

This month’s Skill TBA soon!

If you have goods or services for which you’d be willing to accept all or part Community Currency, you will also have the opportunity to offer them to folks at the breakfast. Items that have been sold at the breakfast include organic, free-range eggs, hand-made soaps and lotions, fresh-baked bread, herbal tinctures, and whatever you might have to offer!

We will be doing a workshop after the breakfast from 12:30pm-1:30pm: “Community Currency 101: How to Get Involved in the Humboldt Exchange.”

These breakfasts are held the third Sunday of every month. The cost is $5 Community Currency (we’ll also settle for US$) for all the pancakes you can eat.

Please join us for yummy food and a good time. If you would like to help out or carpool with folks to the breakfast please contact Democracy Unlimited - info@duhc.org or 269-0984. Or meet at the Arcata Co-Op Kiosk at 9:45am for a ride with Jon.
