What:
Edith Goodwin Davis’s rose garden produces some of the most beautiful roses in Humboldt County. She will be the presenter at the Humboldt Rose Society’s Thursday, November 10, 7:00 p.m. meeting at Christ Episcopal Church, 15th and H Streets, Eureka, giving her tips and sharing her know-how in producing new plants from cuttings. It needs to be recognized that sometimes there are patent restrictions that need to be followed, and that will be explained, but for the home gardener, starting new plants from slips and cuttings is a way that friends share with each other and a cost-saving way to increase the beauty and bounty of a garden.
Come with your interest and a note pad and hear it from an expert. Everyone welcome. Membership is invited but not required. Refreshments provided. A silent auction offers many garden-related possibilities.
