Missoula Children’s Theatre Presents Snow White At Mateel This Saturday
This Saturday, October 8th, the Mateel Community Center in Redway will present a local cast production of Missoula Children’s Theatre’s Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. The tale begins when a young princess named Show White finds herself in peril when her step-mother, Queen Bella, is told by her Magic Mirror that the princess is fairer than she. Aided by her two Henchmen and a band of evil Bats, the Queen plots to get rid of Snow White, but she escapes from Queen Bella and the Black Forest Creatures with help from Witless the Woodsman, and finds a home with the Seven Dwarfs. When Queen Bella learns of Snow White’s whereabouts, she attempts to poison her, but Queen Bella’s evil plans are thwarted when Snow White’s fearless Forest Friends, King Backwards, the Seven Dwarfs and the Prince come to her rescue.
Doors open at 7:30pm with curtain at 8:00. Tickets are available at the door only are priced at $5 for pre-teens, $12 MCC members, and $15 general (with babes in arms free). This admission fee directly supports the annual Missoula Children’s Theatre program and makes it possible to offer this week-long theatrical residency free of charge to local youth. A variety of snack foods, desserts, and refreshments will be available for purchase.
