Eureka, October 15, 2010 – The Sequoia Park Zoo and Foundation will host a town hall-style meeting will be held on Wednesday October 20th at 6:00pm to discuss the upcoming ballot Measure O. If passed, Measure O would bring the city’s sales tax to 9 percent and would generate an estimated $3.4 million over its proposed five-year life for the City’s General Fund, which covers areas such as police and fire, parks and recreation, and other public benefit programs.
