Spring Into Summer
What:
The McKinleyville Community Choir, under the direction of Robert Kieber, appeared at the Eureka Women’s Club for the Consultants for Global Program’s annual fundraiser in May. A lively variety of folk, pop and classical pieces were offered. A favorite piece, “Pastime with Good Company”, an English folk song written by King Henry VIII, featured vocal drums and a nasal reed section complete with handcrafted nose clips. (Pictured) This diverse fun-loving choir will offer a free community concert, “Spring into Summer” in McKinleyville on June 27th. Bring the family and join us at the Grace Good Shepherd Church on Hiller Rd at 3 pm. The choir is recruiting new voices for the upcoming holiday season with rehearsals beginning in Sept.
